Is there any idea?

Hi guys,

I am newbie here and it is my first thread. My problem is that I’m going to be moving to California in a month or so. I can take my iPod with me but computer is my mother. My uncle will have a computer and I may get a laptop. I’m wondering how I can transfer my library to different computer. Your any advice will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Are you using a Mac or PC?

On a Mac, what I did was loaded my iPod up with all of my music, then plugged it into my new computer and used Senuti to transfer the music back over. I'm not sure what you would use on a PC, because most of the apps I've seen are payware. Apparently PodPlus is good, but it's $15.

I assume that you mean your iTunes Library.......

You may find this article helpful: Using your iPod to move your music to a new computer

Hope this helps -GDF

Transfer all your music to your iPod.

On new computer: Download Music Rescue (free but with messages every 50 songs to buy :P) and transfer your music from iPod to your new computer. It's for Mac + PC

actually, if you want to work hard,

you can open the ipod and get the files off the iPod manually, but they're all jumbled (example: Love Revolution by Lenny Kravitz on mine may show up as Artist: 23F45, Song Title: 75BBDHE) so if you're desperate, you can transfer, but spend a butt load of time trying to match songs with info...

Hi, there is lots of software available on the net that can easily transfer songs, pictures or music with iTunes. Currently I am using ipodtoitunes iPod 2 iTunes software and it works very well for me and I hope this will help you too.

Good luck!
