AveDesk Version? Make sure it's 1.3 since 1.4 is a Vista build..haven't tried 1.4 on Xp.
Make sure you delete the language folder and also that you have the suggested updates from the 1.4 thread.
Do what i did, go in and delete the cache and then the avedesk files. Download a fresh one and start from there.

Avedesk crashes without a notice a lot of the time on my computer...You don't even notice it's gone (the pidlshortcuts all remain visible) but as soon as you click on them or call up showcase, the tray icon and everything else vanishes. It occurs very randomly and I've found no cause for it till now. Anybody know of a soluion?
In my case I click on the icon of avedesk, it loaded, but after a few seconds, it disappears with an error like this: windows crash, appcompat.txt! I have windows xp home sp2 with all updates, I have rocketdock, but avedesk doesn't work! Damn... Can somebody tell me how can I make it work?

What's the cause you found? If you know the cause then it makes a solution easier.
Since upgrading to 2.0 the only time I get the display rendering issue has been when I'm doing a lot of coding and graphic stuff. Which I chalk up to having crappy integrated graphics card.
In the version 1.3 there's no language folder? Or am I blind? 
Where can I find it?
I asked that before because 1.3 version is a zipped application, there's no need to install files or something like that! the only thing to do is to unzip the files, but there's no any folder in it only files! So what language folder do you want me to delete? thx for your cooperation man

I actually couldn't isolate any cause for it as this occurs very very randomly.
