Virus Alert [9/11]

During the next several weeks be VERY cautious about opening or

launching any e-mails that refer to the World Trade Center or 9/11 in

any way, regardless of who sent it. PLEASE FORWARD TO ALL YOUR

FRIENDS AND FAMILY. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW, "WTC" STANDS FOR THE

WORLD TRADE CENTER. REALLY DANGEROUS BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL OPEN IT

RIGHT AWAY, THINKING ITS A STORY RELATING TO 9/11!

BIGGGG TROUBLE !!!! DO NOT OPEN "WTC Survivor" It is a virus that

will erase your whole "C" drive. It will come to you in the form of

an E-Mail from a familiar person. I repeat, a friend sent it to me,

but called and warned me before I opened it. He was not so lucky and

now he can't even start his computer!

Forward this to everyone in your address book. I would rather

receive thi s 25 times than not at all. So, if you receive an email

called "WTC Survivor", do not open it. Delete it right away! This

virus removes all dynamic link libraries (.dll files) from your

computer.

i dont think it will erase the whole C: Drive as u cant delete the Windows Folder or Program files while running windows

hey people..... i think i have a Problem ....

See.... i`m on Win Xp pro... Well. my Pc Always Re-start Alone, when i turn it on... "maybe some times" it just go to the Logging Screen and then i can use windows, but it is a metter of time, coz it just re-start alone.. and that is when i`m lucky... coz the last time, when i turned on my PC... it just re-star,like 5 time one after another .. and it does not even went to the Loading Screen.... Man what is happening???? do you think it`s some kind of Virus??? like the one you are talking about ?

dude this is so SAD.... i don`t want to loose all what i have done ... my Pc just looks like a MAc :( :cry:

I, being your resident Hackee, advise people after installing Norton av and enabling liveupdate, to also manually download the "intelligent updater" definition file which is released everyday, as opposed to just using Liveupdate which updates your def's every Wednesday.
