i've xp and svista,and i can say:
ok vista is better than xp in graphic and in some new application, semplify some procedure for users.and stop-there is a lot of resource used,and too much: "are u sure to do this operation?" if i do an installation or want change the property of something,and do this 3-4-5-undred time,why this stupid intelligence ask me that?it's clear that i want to "continue",maybe MS can insert a training metod so vista can understand i'm not a stupid and i know what i do!
xp ok now (sp2) is stable and personalizzable with the same new application on vista es.widgetbar,
and leave user free to decide -i know,so free to destroy the pc,but human is an animal curious :)try&evolve-and is faster than vista-yes u can try on the same machine to boot xp and vista:) who is the faster?xp-maybe vista whit the sp2:D-
and most useful procedure at work-printers-lan-etc was designed for xp,specially old drivers
so i'm wwaiting for windows 7

Because of veery bad interface, nags everywhere, resource eater and eerm... i hated it at first sight and at second installation. xp runs well and doesn't need to be upgraded except directx10
Windows XP should be kept until 2009. It's like the fastest, most stable operating system around. Not to mention its a customizable OS. Windows Vista is crap. Its all bloated with crap that you don't even need. For Example, who uses Windows Defender? What about UAC? Thats like the most annoying thing in Vista.
Hope Windows 7 kills Windows XP and Windows Vista. If not, I'm definatly switching to a Mac.

I find it funny that people complain about Vista's UAC, but praise OS X and Ubuntu and they practically have the exact same feature. If you don't like it, turn it off.
