is there any docklet that tells when i have a message in pidgin? or maybe it shows my status?
Pidgin Docklet
a docklet that behaves like the one for Adium in OS X...
that would be cool, but would probably involve a lot of coding
yes, that's exactly what i'm talking about
i guess it exists for msn messenger
but that im sucks
so i'd like one for pidgin
pleasee
calling the developers-cave ![]()
this would be so cool ...
i hope someone have some time to do one
i`ll do my best to give all the moral suport i can ![]()
or maybe just an icon that tells you when pidgin is executing
at least it's something and it shouldn't be so difficult
i will try to read a bit and try to make something like that
i might fail as well as succed
you never know when it's about me
http://code.google.com/p/awn-plugins/ This is a docklet for the Avant Window Navigator dock used in Linux setups. It won't work with RKLauncher or ObjectDock but it should give a reference to where things need to be hooked into or setup when creating a docklet for those Windows docks.
I'd love to see one made and if I had more free time and a better understanding of the ObjectDock SDK I would take a stab at it myself...
ok i give up
yes, i know it was so little time
haha
aaaaaaaaaaaaaa desperation
maybe sysstats?
i need to know how to make the sysstats config detect a running application
if it's running
ta-da! the green bird wakes up
if it's not running, it closes its eyes
please people
it can't be so hard for someone that's familiarized with this stuff
look at this http://koti.mbnet.fi/simom/pidgin/led-notification/
might be usefull
oh, it may be linux-only :S
If you use yahoo widgets you could make a widget that uses com to detect if the application is running and display a notification. You could also have the widget write an xml file to your harddrive and in turn have systats read the file and possibly get it to do what you want. Although with something like this an actual docklet would be nicer.
ok, so did anybody find or did something about this?
i need the same ![]()
If anyone could do something for Miranda (Probably easier) That'd be neat.
