Apple today released the 32Gb iPod touch and the iPhone at 16Gb. The sizes of the devices and the feature sets appear to be the same. The prices for the higher capacities raise the bar to $499 for the top of the line for each model.

The new iPod Touch that they released (the 32GB version) makes me mad. Also, the fact that they dropped the price on the 16GB here in Canada makes me feel even worse. I could have saved $30 if I bought it now instead of 2 months ago.

And I'm still waiting for the Jesusphone to come to Canada.

On the Australian Website ( www.apple.com.au ), the Macbook Air still takes center stage (the big image) while the new ipod touch 32gb released only today immediately takes out 2nd place... could this be signalling a new release... may the macbook air center stage image be replaced by the 3g iphone release?

Your avatar makes the Apple car look superior. Then, below, it says "Go Big Blue". Big Blue is the nickname for IBM. IE: Windows based computers, the ones your avatar dismisses.

And the touch screen still fascinates people. I was sitting in Starbucks today and someone came by and had to ask what it was and where they could buy one. It hasn't gotten old for me. And wasting $500? It's worth every penny.

Well the iPhone has a tad more things packed into it... like a Phone.

As for an event at the end of the month, the SDK is due out at that time.

Rogers in Canada has also prepped all their data plans to more "iPhone friendly", so they may finally be getting the iPhone as well.

3G iPhone isn't due until this summer.

Apple hasn't applied for an FCC license to build one yet, so I doubt it would be released anytime soon.

Well it (was) more of a personal matter. I caved in and got the 32GB Touch. And... now that it's my own that I'm playing with and not store property or my friend's or something, yeah its fabulous

Jailbreaking is totally worth it. There really is no point in owning one without doing it.

Anyway, after playing with it for a while it gets old, the whole revolutionary "wow-factor" of the touch screen. After a while its just like; "yeah....its a touch screen.....woot?"

Maybe I'm just a raincloud, but thats how I feel about it
