So I decided to try this program out and it seems better than others like objectdock and rocketdock. However, I have some questions:
1. How come whenever I exit the program and re-open it, all but the original programs on the dock disappear?
2. How do you add programs onto the dock? Whenever I try dragging something onto it it doesn't let me. (The dock isn't locked) When I click 'Add Item' nothing happens.
3. How do you add those stacks and other cool pop-out effects?
Are you on Vista? I read something about Vista protecting folders that are critical for rklauncher to store its preferences. If so, try running the program with full rights, configure your dock, exit program and rerun it as regular user. I can't help any further for I'm running XP and never had problems with rklauncher.
For Stacks: Perform a forum search for stacks docklet
download it
move the unzipped folder into rklauncher's docklets folder
right click the dock and choose "add docklet"
Where it says: docklet information "Type", change from Y'z docklet to Object Dock docklet
click the stacks docklet
click add to dock
exit the dialogue
right click the newly appeared stacks docklet and configure (configuration dialogue should be self-explanatory)
