Good game. Everyone was giving Giants the benefit of the doubt, which in the end, they can't be considered underdogs because of how many people were expecting them to win, which was about half and half from what I saw.
Ah-well, now the off-season starts. Lets see what draft picks Rams can screw up this year.

Exactly. The Cardinals are trying to see if they could trade away every good player we had on the World Series squad. The Rams have got to get better players this year.
I'm thinking Bulger should get bumped to 2nd String. Guy has no concept of scrambling after a snap.
I just loved how the Giants took the game away from the Patriots, just when they thought the game was over. Best game of the season.
giants are a fluke. everyone knows this is not the way this was supposed to happen. then again, im a hardcore browns fan.

The Patriots were caught cheating only because they had the brass balls to engage in the practice playing against a team coached by a former Patriots staffer. How dumb--or perhaps arrogant, in this case--does one have to be to actually attempt something like that?

Every team does this. It is a known, legal, and allowed practice. This stands in contrast to sneaking a cameraman onto the field and illegally (that is, against NFL rules) taping the other team while taking note of the down and distance on that particular play.
You must not know too much about how the NFL operates if you think that still photos, which are legal to take, develop, and study during a game, are in any way analogous to filming a team during a game against NFL regulations.
I'm perfectly familiar with how the NFL operates and I'm aware that one is not comparative to the other. I'm not endorsing what they did. Also, it would be naive to think that it's not being done but, on a more surreptitious level.
What I was pointing out is that it was blown up into a big issue simply because they got caught. Everybody cheats, cheating at sports has been around as long as sports have existed and anyone who believes their team (in any "professional" sport) is not doing whatever it takes to win including cheating is in la-la land.
Regardless of that issue it was still the sloppiest game of the season and I'm surprised the Giants didn't have a bigger lead

Whether or not everyone cheats is up for debate.
