Hot Weather 2 - watch the climate change

Yea, it's strange. I told you I checked if I had the font in C:/windows already.

Anyhow, a restart seemed to do the trick! P.S. Any way to change the dark background around the "other" days' writing? It doesn't show up well on dark backgrounds as you can see above. Or maybe change the font to white for those?

Thanks for the continued support!

Another problem...

I figure the up arrow and the down arrow stand for the high and low. I'm only getting one digit in those places instead of two. So instead of high: 23 and low: 15 I'm just seeing high: 2 low: 1

I'm sorry, I didn't know adding new unrelated information or questions was double posting... How will the OP know to check the thread if he doesn't see a new post?

Hi there -

well, it took some time to see your post anyway as I haven't online a lot recently ;)

You actually can change/vary anything you like, as Hot Weather is totally skinable.

Easiest way:

Rightclick the desklet, choose 'Hot weather options' and click on the folder icon next to the skin's dropdown menu in the upper right corner.

Now the folder containing the present skin will be opened, showing the graphics and the text file ('skin.xml') containing the skin's font, font size, font color, coordinates of text, etc.

If unsure what to change, just make a copy of that folder, rename it and choose the new name as skin in the options (might need a restart or flip back to show up).

Then you e.g. can change the other days' info by changing

<Small_Icon_FontColor>clblack</Small_Icon_FontColor>

to

<Small_Icon_FontColor>clwhite</Small_Icon_FontColor>

If having problems with the high and low temp info, (strange bug as it works for me -might be due how big the font shows up on your system, maybe depending on font smoothing), change

<HighLowTemp_FontSize>18</HighLowTemp_FontSize>

to

<HighLowTemp_FontSize>16</HighLowTemp_FontSize>

Hope that helps... :)

Thank you. Both suggestions worked. I had to change the HihgLowTemp_FontSize to 16 for it to work, 17 didn't work. Now the background lcd display watermark is a little bigger but whatever.

Thanks!

EDIT: The N/A doesn't fit... only fits N/
