I've never had problems with VS.
I've had problems once with WB, it immediately crashed my whole computer. so I'm not very much trusting WB anymore, and would rather stick to VS

What are you talkin' about?! People get banned for speakin' the truth? There's no doubt about it that people use hacked versions of WB, why would you pay for somethin' if you can get it for free? This is just like downloadin' music to your iPod, why use the Apple service and pay for music when you can just simply download it and gon' on bout yo' business? You can use that 99cents for somethin' else online. lol
I'm not degradin' the use of VS Im just sayin' why use a VS with various of other programs to make it look good when instead you can just use WB and get it all in 1 package.
Some VS's are really good and some require you to run extra programs to get the most out of it.
VS = Uses like no resources at all but limited. eg. glass effect, buttons, etc.
WB = Resource hog! But you'll get more with it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with discussing pirated software, or even advocating it for that matter...I think the problem is with providing links to it and/or distributing it....

The asterisks are censors genius...
The difference between visual styles and windowblinds includes many things. Windowblinds pros do outweigh the cons but not many people appreciate the fact that a.) it's payware b.) it's not the most private program. But with it you do get nice alpha-blended corners, transparency, more intense theming than VS's, relocation of stoplights, etc. Visual styles are free, use barely any system resources, and all that. However they cannot move the stoplights, have alpha-blended corners, alpha transparency, per-pixel skinning and all that.
I dont think there are any easy ways to convert a windowblinds skin to a visual style. you'd need to open it up in Stylebuilder and convert it on your own. This is best done with a base skin resembling the one you want to "port"...
