Apple keyboard

hey. at work, i have a mac mini running 10.5. i'm using the standard white apple keyboard that came with it. what is the deal with the 'home' and 'end' keys? is there a way to make them work in a text box, like the one i'm typing in now?

and then, i use remote desktop to remote into our servers at work. when i do that, the numbers on the num pad don't work. is there a way to turn on num lock?

i forgot all about this. these issues still exist, but i just kinda gave up. good time for a bump...

I do believe that's hard-built into Mac OS X itself... I too have an external Apple keyboard, and the home and end keys move the page, too, instead of inside the text box.

There's got to be a way to modify something to make it work the other way (the windows way, I assume? )
