I have this for 3.0.4, but it only changes the look to traffic lights, they remain on the right.

how do I install this and is there a way to change it to the left seems like the apple programs are pretty locked up like itunes customization with windowblinds

I haven´t Safari installed, but I guess you have to put the file in the main folder. The second file is a backup I think.

Maybe search for Safaritheme.dll and overwrite.

That wasn´t done by me, and was posted in some threat about Safari here.

yeah it working fine, i mean like glossy buttons for back, forward, reload ect.

or even the brushed metal background would do nicely
