A friend of mine bought MacBook in Panama Apple Store (as she said) in November.
However she discovered with my help only now that she had got MacBook with Tiger.
As far as I know there are no official MacStore in Panama, accorfing to Apple.com

Does she have a right to demand MacBook with Leopard ?
if the deadline for applying for a Leopard install disk has expired then yes.
I'd say if she didn't realize that she didn't have leopard in the first place it wont really make a difference to her overall experience.
Actually, I thought you would say smth like: Hey, don't they have to ship leopard starting October 26.
You see, this is her first mac and she just didn't know about Leopard ( Don't know how that could happen at all ?)
Well, the official apple stores do . . . but resellers don't . . . Thats why apple made sure that anyone could apply for a Free leopard DVD before a certain date meaning that most people who brought from resellers and didn't get leopard could get it without paying.
Its best that you contact Apple about this though as I can't confirm it.
