Parallel works on Intel Mac only. Because Intel mac's support installing Windows as secondary operating system, and Parallels make use of Intel processor's Virtualization technology to run Windows and Mac together simultaneously.
Use Microsoft Virtual PC Instead.
You need to use MS Virtual PC, which you can no long buy in retail.
Also, expect it to be much slower than VMWare of Parrallels.
Yes, because VPC it needs to emulate the processor instructions...very slow...
I'd recommend a PPC-Linux distribution. You'll have a lot more fun with that one and you won't suffer any VM-pains.
