as alxz310 says, check your system. it is not ram or FAK but something else...
i have 512 ram on a 1.6 GHz sempron with 64 mb nvidia card, and FAK 3.5 installs and runs just fine.
platform is xp home sp2...
on startup, i have running WB, WindowFX, RK launcher, Objectbar, Rainmeter, Avedesk pidlshortcuts, Styler, ubericon, AVG, and usb camera. with a total of 30 processes running, resource consumption if around 275 MB
I second what kinsemon says, I have installed FAK with just only 192 Mb ram, on a Celeron with integrated video (32 Mb I believe).
