Site not working in Opera???

Since today morning, this is how the site looks in opera....Has forced me onto FF, what's wrong?! :(:(

Edit: Yes, the bug's gone here too. It vanished as mysteriously as it came after annoying me for two hours, what could be the explanation???

Working here. Opera 9.23.

I'll look into it, but the site should work fine in Opera 9x.

Next time that happens, upload the html file or something, could also be something on our end.

It is Opera 9x...The site was working fine, I was actually browsing through it when a page refresh turned into that. Then after two hours of periodically checking the site, it turned all right again. I did nothing at all that could have either set it wrong or right in between. Next time (if there is one) I shall take your advice and upload html, :)

Use FireFox from now on, then you don't have to worry about problems ;):P

You don't want to get me started on that topic....:P

OPERA RULES MMuuuuhaaaaaaaahhahaaa

Just incase anyone is curious, this is how the site is made and tested in forums. Order from the best support to worst (even tho it most likely works great in it).

Safari > Firefox > IE7 > Opera > IE6

Safari > Firefox > IE7 > Opera > IE6

I know there are reasons of practicality and pragmatism behind that order.....But it still sucks, :P

I mean, isn't opera supposed to be the most standards compliant browser (at par with Konqueror) and IE6(&7) the least? Why this injustice to us Opera users?:(

Ojalord, it's not injustice, it's cleverness.

You see it because of the order: because Opera is very standards compliant, it is tested at the end (it will work for sure). Instead Safari is tested first as it is not so compliant, to bear standards incompatible browsers first ;)

You're kidding, right. :P

The problem with Opera being standards compliant is that most sites are designed keeping in mind the common junta who use IE and FF...So many sites do not work in Opera, :(:(

Due to this reason, Gmail for Opera was crippled for a long time (though it could often be fooled by Opera's pretending to be IE or FF, :D

Actually,

I do safari first since I use a mac, and I want it to look as close to the mac as possible first.

Then Firefox cause its crap and everyone here uses it

Then IE7 cause face it its the default browser in windows now and alot of people use that aswell

THEN opera, I rarely even have to test it much in this browser cause things just work so its tested last since it will most likely work.

then the bastard child IE6 is tested, blah blah blah, thats when the fun begins.
