Ive been searching for an hour now.
There was a registry mod that would remove the Animated flag from IE and Explorer. Anyone got the link to it? I believe I origionally got it from Siddharth.
And I know Y'z Toolbar does it, I dont want to use that.
you can use gpedit.msc.

Want to get rid of that Windows icon in the upper right hand corner of both Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer? It’s called the Throbber and not only is it useless, but it’s more MS branding. Just copy the following into Notepad, and when you go save it, for it’s file name type in EXACTLY “No Throbber.REG” NOTE the QUOTES in the file name and the .REG part, YOU MUST INCLUDE THOSE 2 THINGS!.
