iPhone Firmware Version 1.1.3 Leaked

Someone at Apple has apparently leaked the 1.1.3 firmware for the iPhone. Ars Technica reports that an Apple employee snuck it to one of the hackers as a Christmas gift, to aid in the unlocking efforts. Obviously however, the details at this point are sketchy.

This firmware version brings with it multiple Springboards (a la Summerboard), icon repositioning amongst many new features. These two are particularly important as they will allow the development of third party apps.

No release date has been confirmed, however many expect it to appear at MacWorld '08.

It's still debated as to the authenticity of the video.

So far everything that has been shown in the video, can be done with a jailbreaked 1.1.2 iPhone.

I'm in the minority on this, but given that I just got an iPod Touch for Christmas, I'm far more interested in what firmware 1.1.3 will entail for the Touch.

I got an iPod Touch too!

I bought mine for £100 from the MCC Store at Albert Dock, so 'bout $200 (But in the UK the price for an iPod Touch is $390 0_o)
