I use Miranda 0.7.0 and MSN plugin 0.7.1.0 (by George Hazan). Right now I can't send messages to MSN clients if they are offline.

As far as I can recall, it allowed you to "send messages" to offline contacts, then whenever your MSN sees the contact connected, it automatically dispatchs the messages to him/her.
BTW I remember MSN Plus was hungry on resources and propense to virus at version 3.5, so do a restore/restauration point ("Punto de restauración" I definitely need a copy of Windows in english for reference) before installing it.
I have no problem to send offline messages to MSN contacts using Miranda, I think they are supported since 7.0 or 7.1, so make sure you have the latest version installed.
edit: yay, miranda 7.3 is available, time to upgrade!
Yep, upgrading it should give you the ability to message offline contacts.

Right click on Miranda icon in the tray and select Main Menu >> Frames >> View Modes. Click on the "Visible" item to uncheck it.
