Hi, I'd like to have an app that can simulate those system tray like icons in OS X.
See, I want to go away with the system tray but, I want volume controls, Wifi, etc to still be there(that look like they do in OS X) kind of like in OS X.

Flyakite doesn't install correctly & isn't object bar just a trial?
Just to clear it up I'm looking for free software.
I'll attach a pic of how close I am to getting the OS X look.

Not Objectdock but Objectbar,if Flyakite you thing doesn't install properly and you are looking for the best and free one well sorry !

OB is 30-day trial...
from your screenshot, looks like you're running Finderbar (Landvermesser's ?). I seem to remember threads similar to yours under Finderbar / aqua-soft archives...can't remember since i don't use that app.
what you can do is replace the icons of the apps you want...use Reshacker (Resource Hacker) hehehe, just be careful and make sure you know what you are doing. You can download some systray icons
from Iceman's Emulation Page. Google it mate.
Changing the tray icons with Resource Hacker is probably the best way to go, however there's no way to hide tray icons afaik. 
Is there an app to hide tray icons, or to replace the tray bar with your own tray bar? (I'm thinking about writing one to have your own tray bar, if there isn't any of the ones I mentioned in my question)

So, correct me if I'm wrong: right click the task bar, Properties, Personalizar (sorry, spanish Windows... Customize?, it is the button at the right of "Hide inactive icons" checkbox), and in Behavior set Always Hide?
He already knows how to set them on "always hide",
What you should search for is "system tray managers" and the like on google. I daresay you'll find some stuff.
Right-click on the taskbar and select 'Customize Notifications...'. There you can select which icons the system tray should hide / always show.

You mean, you download ObjectBar trial version, mod it, and it suddenly is free? :S
^ It's actual purpose is to allow the user to set custom names for apps shown in the menubar. The overriding of the trial is actually a bug in OB afaik and is perfectly legal, lol. But it's not compatible with the latest OB, I think.

Shareware, but does exactly what you want: exchange the tray icons for different ones, which you can choose.

That's just for replacing Ctrl, Alt and the Win key with the Apple ones.
I don't think that there's any legal way to make ObjectBar "free", but anyways I don't like ObjectBar, there should be another way.
And please, DON'T recommend FlyakiteOS, it looks like the bastard son of Win98 and Mac OS Panther.
