Not all of my icons get larger

Hello, I like to have my icons on the large setting (I have vista) but on some icons they don't get bigger they just get this box around them and stay the same. Does any know of a program or site that can make these icons bigger? I would prefer it if the software is freeware.

if you right click the icon>properties>then here should be a customize tab? and a place to change the icon. Just get a higher quality icon from deviantart and it should work however im not sure cuz im still on xp

If you mean the icon looks low quality or pixely when big, you just need to download higher quality icons (for example 256x256) instead of the default resolution which is like 3 times smaller or something ;)

If you wanna get them bigger just right click desktop>Personalize>classic settings (or something like that) > Apperance> Advanced> Select Icon from the drop down menu and increase the size as you like

Btw, just letting you know, most icon artists give out their icons (the .ico's) in sizes 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, and 128x128. You can use a program like Axialis IconWorkshop (highly recommended, it's what I use) to fill in the spots in between, for sizes like 72x72, 96x96, or 64x64 ;)

Btw, Styler also can change icon sizes very easily, and it goes all the way to 128x128 instead of the one in Windows properties which has a limit on 72x72 ;)
