Is it possible to have two rocketdocks running. If so, how?
Two rocketdocks?
w/ rklauncher you can ![]()
hmm, is rklauncher less of a resource hog. And is it compatible with rocketdock themes and docklets?
Objectdock plus can handle that. I am pretty sure rocketdock can't. And also with RKlauncher
yeah rklauncher is a little different from the docks Ive used. But object dock doesn't have the minimize affects like rocketdock has, if I'm not mistaken.
I managed to open two RocketDocks:
You run the first just as usual.
And the second one, just right click on RocketDock.exe and use Run as... (and run with a different user).
There is a little problem though: the second instance doesn't react to clicks etc... making it unusable. ![]()
yeah I just decided to stay with one. Don't want too many things running anyways, whats the point.
Oh by the way I really like that stack docklet of yours its real cool. Good job mate.
Following RD's developement closely, I'm 100% sure you can't run 2 instances at the same time. This has however been a feature request for quite a while and I think it among Polyvector and Skunkie (the developers) 's priorities for next release... So were flyout menus I believe but with Matonga's new stacks docklet, I'm not certain it will be that necessary.
yeah sounds good, I await the release then.
Use RKLauncher with ObjectDock free if you want two docks. Want one program? Get ObjectDock Plus.
Yeah I have plus, but I just dont like it. lol I really like that quote you have there phantom lord.
I actually went ahead and used stardock. I added a tab dock and it worked perfectly. It uses way less resources than rocket dock. Thanks for the help all. I take back my previous comment. Thanks all
