Leopard Disk Image

Okay, I made a backup of my Leopard Install DVD. My dog destroyed the original and now I need to burn the backup. Good. Only problem, I lack a DL-DVD that is the massic 7 and a half gigs.

Is there anything I can erase from the disk image that will make it fit on a standard DVD? All I need is really the base OS. Everything else I can put on later.

Delete Xcode and the Developer Tools, if you can.

And additional languages. That'll do it.

Do you have an external hard drive? You can restore the .dmg file to the drive and boot off that to do the install if needed. Much faster, too.
