Look at what I just discovered here.
It's a 10 meg download and it is in Spanish which I don't understand but the icons seem self explanatory.
The player slowly floats up and down over your desktop and morphs when you change modes. I wish they made an English version but it's cool otherwise.
ps. Can a Spanish speaking dude please check it out and see if it does anything bad (like is is spyware?)... Thanks
wow this looks great, love the gui and the graphics on it. Seems pretty good. I wonder if that can be skinned. Not saying identically to itunes but some aquaish app.

Let me get a point clear first.
It is portuguese, not Spanish, although it is very similar I can understand a bit of portuguse when readed. Anyways, this is what this thing seems to be.
It is an application that joins the services of email checking system, weather, zodiac, online radio, mp3 player and video player, information abuot your connection, etc.... Sounds good, but I'm unable to download 10mb at the moment to get more info about it.
I think that you might need to get an account to get that thing to work at all, but I think it might have some sort of ads or maybe spyware.
It's made in Brazil so I don't know if it is Portugese or Spanish that they use there. But whatever it is, it downloads a small installer and then starts downloading the rest. No need to sign up for anything and it works quite well. So far, it hasn't run any ads or placed anything in my browser...
Edit: I stand corrected, it places a google-like toolbar in explorer which has shortcuts to the player and a shopping cart. Man this is a cool app... now I really wish they had an Engish version.
portuguese and spanish both are languages derived from latin... both are similar... so does italian and french...
that page is written in portuguese...
Yeah, and Japan is close to China, so they are the same. 
Okay, I've looked at the files. Looks skinnable using SWF and XML but probably very time consuming.
The XML files look like they can be translated to English so that's a good start.
Oh BTW, for those that don't want the iBest search bar in their Internet Explorer browsers, the uninstaller is located in the Add/Remove programs of the Control Panel. It doesn't uninstall the player. I tried it and it works although I re-installed it because I kinda like the features.
Even though you "like the features", its LOADED with spyware (tracks every website you go to).
And if you're anything like me, you've got lots of secrets you dont want people knowing about.
Nah... got no secrets. Hackers can download my whole drive and I wouldn't be worried a bit. This computer is what I normally format now and then just to try out new stuff.
For my other units, SpyBot S&D is my friend. 
Well, what features does it have? You may want to try the Google Toolbar, its got some great stuff (popup blocking, form filling, google stuff), and its spyware free.
It's kinda neat, but would like to see it in english, or at least with multi langual support. Didn't like the fact that it added some of the extras, but you can opt not to install them, if you can understand Portugees.

I thought I had, but the player still comes up and ther is no uninstall for it in the add/remove.

Hmm... Just tried SpyBot with it and the only thing it found was an Alexa related link which is the same thing I get with the google toolbar. All the rest were tracking cookies from the websites I visited the past week. I'll play around with it some more.
Just delete the folder named Icon in Program Files. I didn't see anything in the registry.
Edit: No wait. Sorry. Just go to the Icon folder and double-click on the uninstall icons. You have choices there.
Well, with Google its a mistake. Honestly, theres NO spyware in the google toolbar.
Alexa is spyware though.
