[help] Serious Problem With Mac Transformation Pac

i love mac, there is nothing bad about it, but when i tried to reinstall it, becuase the icons were screwed up, the system merged both of the system files to create one, with mixed icons...

is there a way that you can make a system restore, like a windows transformation pack, with the default system files, because the system seemed to have merged the two system files, it transforms it in peices...but not all of it is mac, and not all of it is windows, but some of the icons are mac and some are windows.

so, if you didn't get what i was saying above, please...

could you make a windows transformation pack...?

hes right and i think your best bet would just be to do a complete reinstall from scratch. back up those files!

ug, i knew to backup, but when i did, i didn't realize it included backing up mspaint also, i just backed up shell32.dll, explorer.exe, and iexplore.exe...ug!

I found the directory where the installer kept the originals, maybe i can steal the system files from another computer, (i go to a school that is going completely wireless, so we all have laptops) and put them in there, and try that...

yea ive got the problem with the icons too coz i removed the "rebuild icon cache" from startup n slowly by slowly all the icons went back to the xp ones. i havent reinstalled it coz i will be using pack's files now. i think u should give that a try

my key is just to install it, delete all the critical files that make it run when i dont want it, then put them back in when i do.
