Aquamon Clone

Hi all,

I've been busy all afternoon doing a little clone job of AquaMon using CoolMon, a custom background and some major formatting.

In case anyone is not familiar with AquaMon, it's a OS X program that does system monitoring. I'm pretty sure everyone here has seen some OS X screen shots with system stats being displayed in a nice transparant box.

Well it turns out that the people that code AquaMon also code CoolMon, which is a PC version of the program. Although CoolMon was around first.

Anyway, here's a screen shot of what I have been working on:

If anyone is interested, please let me know and I will email the setup etc.

Peace,

Grusic

I just reposted the image at another site, hopefully it will display again now.

Grustic, as usual, you have outdone yourself :) I love it!

I also love CoolMon (thats what I use for system stats :))

Hmm..looks like I may need to link to the image from somewhere else...I just noticed it's disappeared :/

I got to it by hitting quote and copying/pasting the url

http://www.brinkster.com/ gives free space for your images (because geo****ties stopped long ago...of course now I have my own server so I can't complain) if you don't have webspace :)

Hi all,

AquaMon for CoolMon is at v1.1 now.

Here's the link: http://www.evobb.com/~quantumcd/aquamon/Aq...CoolMonv1.1.zip

That looks great Grusic. Would it possible to put the min/max/close buttons on the left, or are you using the default theme for the computer?

Hi Jmitch,

Yes, it is possible to put the min/max/close anywhere I like really.

That window is really just an *.png background.

If one decides to create a new *.png to match whatever theme one may be using at the time, the only requirement that exist for the config I set up is that the new background match the size of the original *.png's.

Other then that, things are golden! ;)
