Not sure If this is available at all but would be so useful, Anyone know?
Details:
I know you can right click the sys-tray icon and change themes, however what I would is an shortcut / icon to a theme (Is there a aurgument I can use there?)
Now to make that super useful, would be an integrated Wallpaper changer, so you can set up a couple of nice themes with wallpapers - then have short cuts to them!
Personally I would use that all the time.
integrated wallpaper changer.... i don't think so.... but to change the theme using an icon/shortcut Avedesk can always save themes then open the theme directly or just link you shortcut/icon to it
For the wallpaper changer, you'll have to use some other dedicated app, Avedesk can't.
There is a picture viewer that has an option to use the current picture as a wallpaper,
I could point it to a folder with just a few wallpapers that match my saved themes,
Then, change theme then WPaper, and I would be good to go.
will have to have a play.
Just have this urge to set up a few themes, ie
nice web desktop with all my internet work and links
a game theme with real big PNG of Game characters
an Office theme etc
to switch between then would be very slick,
maybe I could play around with some scripts or something
AVE should really intergrate some kind of wallpaper OR
Maybe have Several Showcase Screens 1-5 with changeable backgrounds! - now theres an idea?

Your idea sounds nice...I already have another app for the walls but the sound of different themes for different desktops with shortcuts on the dock is really enticing.

One of the ways I like to integrate the wallpaper is,
Take a background you like, lets say an interia shot of a office (for example)
Then pop a copy of the image into Photoshop, cut out bits you want to use for icons, and save them as PNG,s
Then its just a case of opening a new theme and makinmg the shortcuts you like,
music
games
images
Application shortcuts etc
Positioning them on the screen over the original wallpaper, till they line up exactly.
Lock into place, and your done
All you have is a Desktop wallpaper on your screen! - cool
but everything is availuble if you know on which objects to click.
Or,
you just apply a wallpaper you like,
position your Pidl shortcuts anywhere you like
and set their transparency to "1" via desklet properties... 
Should work, too - just don't apply transparency="0" or you can only access them via the control panel!

...just figured out, it would be nice, if the desklet would fade in on mouseover and even wanted to create an effectlet - luckily I thought in time about searching the forum, as thy already has done so and better as I could do, too....
