Attention effect for shortcuts

If I'm not mistaken, the shortcuts on the dock on real mac's will bounce when the program needs attention. So for instance, my shortcut for AIM should bounce any time I get an instant message. This only seems possible if you select display all open windows, and then only those icons will bounce that represent open windows, not the shortcuts.

I'd prefer to not show all open windows on the dock, and have the shortcuts bounce if they need my attention. I'm more so interested in getting my AIM shortcut to work like this.

I'm not sure if this was posted before, but I tried searching and came up short.

Any help would be great!

I'm pretty sure this isn't possible in any of the Windows dock programs? Maybe OD Pro?

Also, I don't know if there's a plugin or docklet available that could do this. It may be possible to script something in SysStats.
