Border Offset

This is a great program and I have absolutely no problems in using it. Everything works as expected.

There is one thing I would like to be able to do and unless I've missed it in the configuration file, I would like the ability to adjust the offset from the position. I have the dock on the bottom of the screen and I'd like to be able to move it up in pixel increments so I can have it let's say 10 pixels from the bottom.

It can't be done natively, and development seems to have halted for a bit. Sorry ;).

I have found a way to do this, but it's kinda wierd/buggy.

Look for a program called Dexpot, and with the preview you can move any program window, including RKLauncher.

Not a permanent fix, but good for a screenshot ;)

you could possibly just adjust the background image so that it is 10px higher, although might look wierd

You have to go to the skin file, and mess with the settings to adjust it up. I used this to tweak skins I used to get them how I wanted. Mess around and soon you'll know how to config it. But make a backup of the skin just in case you screw it up.

LOL. Thanks for all the replies. I'll 'mess around' with it and let you know.

You can use RocketDock, has default options for this.

Yes I have used Rocket Dock. It works on my laptop but has strange effects on my PC. Object Dock also has issues. Thanks.

I've been playing around with this, I'm useless with any sort of image editing programs, but I've managed to get the background image to rise to whatever height I like it, and I've also edited the seperator to rise accordingly. It's just a matter of editing the indicators so that they appear much higher (if this is possible). Also I noticed that the corners are weird, no idea are why though. I found raising the height in this way (simply cropping whole image and then moving it up slightly) has meant that my icons look more naturally placed and the reflections look much better. I've included a picture of what I've managed so far.
