When i change the thumbnail size the original Windows XP folder thumbnail icon is only 96x96px and i dont like the folders quality. (see image)
Is any way to change that icon without editing the shell32.dll, to add an 196x196 or any resolutions?

Ups.. I allready changed the thumbnail size... i mean that the icon qualty is 96x96 but the size is 192x192... sorry about my bad english.
To my knowledge there isn't a free way without a reshack.
Spent some time digging in the registry without any luck on this.
You just can alter the shell32.dll icon No 4. You set the biggest icon to transparent for having no folder in the background or you add a bigger one.
