no "spalsh screen" a splash screen is after boot before login.

I decided to develope one, but it is after login. Here's the link Aquaxp.com

go to aqua emulated apps and look for "[release]splash panel"

OSXP

I use a Mac at work every day, there is no other screen between the boot and login screen, the boot screen on OSX is a simple light gray with a dark grey apple in the middle with the circular throbber at the bottom. The screenshot you posted is from the boot sequence of an older version, OS8 or 9 maybe, showing the extensions being loaded. If it's the gray screen you're looking for, it's a bootscreen and I've seen a couple floating around but none with the circular throbber.

On an iBook if you turn it on you see the boot screen "white background and with a grey apple and the throbbing circle" then if you have just one user and its set to skip the login screen then you see the splash screen.
