Hey guys,
I know this question has probably been asked but I searched and couldn't find it.
Anyways, How can I keep windows from opening under my taskbar? I have my taskbar at the top and this problem is very annoying to say the least.
Thanks.

hey, i downloaded this freeware for windows called shove-it. what it does is whenever a window is moved partially off the screen, it positions itself so that you can see the contents of the window on your desktop. so a windows titlebar will never be stuck under the taskbar, because shove it will place it right underneath. hope this works for you. :canadian:
don't let xP open your windows maximized. Right click folder or whatever opens maximized, click properties under the run list, select, "normal"
Open said window, click the + glyph, drag window to size you like. File>exit
That should solve your problem
I was gonna download shove-it but it's not freeware. I really don't way to pay $15 for something like this.
Thanks anyways.
you can also create borders on your desktop, using something like this:
