How Do I Change These Icons?

Which EXE or DLL are they in?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's explorer.exe. I launched Search and opened Task Manager and did a "goto process" to see what actually ran Search.

Explorer.exe was the dealie

Oh, by the way. How did you change the side panel color to gray?

Mine always comes up the crappy blue that I don't like.

MDZ: I use ResHacker myself. It's pretty good, I've never had a problem with it.

Nope, not explorer.exe

it's %windir%\srchasst\srchui.dll

The top appears to be either 128 or 129 and the bottom appears to be 1

At least I think those are it, I haven't checked it.

In XP for the folders, just choose icons under view.

Then right click each folder and choose properties,

then customize, and finally change icon.

You must hack the shellstyle.dll in

C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna\Shell\NormalColor
