Rocketdock minimized windows

I have the usual apps like firefox, thunderbird, etc on rocketdock, but when i minize them it doesnt minimize them to the icon thats already there (like osx does) instead it makes a new screenshot icon off to the left and puts it there. The only way i can get firefox to minize to the launcher icon is to hold ctrl when i hit minimize. If i do a ctrl+alt+shift like the help page says it tires to close firefox completely. Is there a fix for that or is that just the way it is?

OS X actually doesn't minimize it to the icon that's already there...

Leopard actually minimizes exactly the way that Rocketdock does (or like RKlauncher left of the dustbin).
