Aqua-Soft ForumsI have a Sony DCR-DVD108 and I have filmed a few clips to a dvd. I want to be able to put all those clips onto my MacBook so that I can edit them in iMovie. The only problem is when I connect it to the computer a DVD icon shows up and I'll open that. Then there is no movie files. They are all encoded or something like a DVD you would buy at a store. How do I do this? Thanks.

Sorry for the double-post. I put on my Computer via Handbrake into a .m4v format. It is having a hard time importing to iMovie HD though. For a five minute movie it says it is going to take about 2 hours.
EDIT: I changed the HandBrake options to upload to .avi and not .m4v . This thread can be removed.
