Mac Trojan

Just a heads up for any Mac users who like certain videos..

There's a new trojan for Mac that disguises itself as a QuickTime codec.

This is officially the most Darwin of trojans: it weeds out those who are less than thick. Here's what you must do in order to get this trojan (and I'm not joking):

1. Go to a seedy pr0n site

2. Feel the need to watch videos on said site

3. Realize that, despite having Perian, you need a special secret codec

4. Believe that the only way to get this codec is to download it from this seedy site

5. Once it's finished, you've gotta type in your admin password.

Only after doing all of that will you get the trojan.

A lot of people who use pc's don't know what a codec is and whether thay have them on their install despite the fact that pc users are supposedly more used to the nitty gritty of computing, something that Apple's own Mac vs. PC ads show (by nitty gritties, I mean the plethora of crashes, bsods, viruses, etc that a pc is reputed to battle constantly). So, the fact that a Mac user who isn't used at all to such stuff will get fooled by stuff like that is quite probable (read this, http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant).

And who says Mac users don't go to seedy pr0n sites? Are you trying to say they have better methods than the rest of us???
