Old Firefox Skins

Hey,

I have some skins for firefox that I used with 1.5, now when I try to use them with 2.0 obviously they wont install.

I was wondering how to convert them to work with newer firefox versions.

yeap u can I've done it you have to open inside the jar the install.rdf file with wordpad and modify this line

1.5

1.5.0.*

replace the mx version 1.5.0 to what ever version of firefox you are using right now most likely 2.0.9

skins may be a little buggy, hope this helps

Just one more question. After I make the changes to old theme. How do I repack and upload it to firefox?

extract the JAR, make the change, put the new version into a zip and change it from .zip to .jar

what i did was inside winrar i opened the install file and just changed the max version to 2.0.0.9 and hit save in notepad, than winrar asked me would you like to update the archive and i hit yes, than dragged the jar that i downloaded before and saved to my desktop into firefox addons and it installed you have to save the .jar file to your desktop first if you haven't already
