Retrieving iPod data using WinSCP

Hi to all,

Is anyone can explain how to use WINSCP in order to be able to retrieve IPOD files back to the PC? How should I define the USB port etc.? Is ther other solution for that?

Can't you enable hidden folders and look at the iPod through Windows Explorer?

WinSCP is not intended to be used to access a local disk. It's a network tool.

Your iPod is seen by Windows as a removable storage device.

All you have to do is enable disk mode on your iPod and you will be able to see everything.

The music can be copied or even played from your iPod in disk mode using WMP (if they are MP3's and not in Apple's proprietary format).
