[request] Modded Thunderbird

Hi,

I was just wondering...could anyone zip his modded, skinned and into-Safari-transformed mozilla browser?

I won't say that I'm lazy 'cos that's the painful truth ;)

Thanks in advance

Yeah, yeah

Bu I'm talking about whole application transformed due to MageGuru's tutorial. I just don't have time to change all these .mss and other stuff..

If you have Phoenix transformed into Safari, please zip it up and gimme a link :boob shake:

This tutorial is tooooo much for me.

Wouldn't it to be easier to upload whole thing in the first place?

no it wouldn't

1. Not everything is in the firebird folder

2. The other folder has personal settings in it.

3. New versions are released everyday.

how lazy can you get?<_<

it's really easy to do. go do it yourself.

Well... :depressed:

It's not that I'm lazy. I'm a dreamer. I wish that everything was as easy as 1-2-3. Sometimes I'm sick of these ini's msstyles and that stuff. Computers shouldn't be like that. I'm here to make my PC similar to Mac -> easier to use. And the things that I've to do with for example Phoenix make me

That's why I asked for Phoenix-Safari-Pack

actually, i found the tutorial out of date when i tried it and messed up my browser because some settings and names where altered <_

Well, now you see! :6 Maybe someone will just delete his personal things, zip this s***t and post it? We lazy or less talented modders will be really happy :P

Anyone know what happened to the original tutorial by MageGuru? I've tried searching the forums multiple times, and can't seem to find it. I even search by his user name, and still no luck.

I downloaded a recently nightly build of firebird optimized for P4 & SSE. it starts up much more quickly, but unfortunately, now I can't mod it to look safari like.

I tried copying over my .jar files from my older phoenix install, but since his tutorial also included an extension for a button to drop down the file menu, it really screwed up my browser.

If anyone has any idea's where I can find his old tutorial, even a cache'd copy of it on google would make me happy, i'd really really appreciate it. Even if some think it's outdated and messed up their browsers, I'm playing the odds that they weren't intelligent enough to be editting text files on their own.

Thanks for any info.

Maybe that is outdated.

Get one for the lastest milestone and up here-->Compact Menu

BTW: anyone experiencing problems with the paypal website? My firebird crashes everytime i go there. Started happening today. :(

#48723

Thanks for the link to the compact menu, but still wondering about all the other tweaks..

ie: get rid of the menu bar, change the titlebar text.. yada yada yada.

Thanks for any info!

#48749

I think compact menu automatically removes the menu.

it does for me.

anyway here's a link to mageguru's tutorial. it's pinned under the skins section ;)

Mageguru's Safari Tutorial

I'm not sure if most of them still work now.
