We had apple representatives come into our store to make sure we didnt "show" leopard until 6 pm on the dot.
I work in (Australia) Domayne's Apple department as a specialist and got to play around with the leopard the whole day before it was even officially released.

I get my copy in about 5 hours, it's due at 10:30 am, and it's 5:30 am now. Usually FedEx is ahead of schedule from the experiences I've had, so maybe it will come early 
So, tell me, in the Appearance prefpane (assuming there is one), are there different schemes (like aqua and graphite was in tiger)? Or, is it just one Leopard?

coverflow and quicklook is just so... snappy and well thought out.
time machine works a gem. it really is as simple as it looks. Im starting to wonder how people could backup without it. it makes it simply effortless (except if you're trying to delete porn).
the additions to mail are nice, tho not revolutionary.
its performance overal is excellent.
cant say i like the look of leopard overall. but i must admit the overall theme is a lot more consistant and each element works in with each other (even if i dont like the overall feel/colours).
Cant wait to skin the beast.

little easter eggs are everywhere, like... spotlight finds more things (did ical to-dos? show up in tiger?) etc.
@viristulte- Its just Blue and Graphite. Although, blue is a lot more dark purple... and graphite a darker grey.
Yeah I hope the networking management is better, I hated mounting everything in Tiger.
Btw it seems to you can restore some of Tiger's Skin parts in Leopard but according to the guys who have done it "it doesn't look right" by simply setting some settings in the terminal (using "default write" etc ...)
BTW : I hate the glyphs 
And I likes the not unified system skin. I liked having Unified windows skinned as brushed, that gave OS X something special.

well.... it essentially works like tiger does placing the dock left/right. just.... it has reflections and more shape to it...
the reflections are stunning btw. yeah just imagine the leopard dock down the bottom rammed down the side of the screen.

Like woah, Finder is so super sexy. I don't like using the new coverflow; I don't know why, but it just seems awkward.
stacks...gah, the way it leans to the side makes me cringe. I had to switch it to the alternative style. It works a lot better.
I tried out the integrated Bootcamp. Worked pretty much like the beta. Booted both XP Pro SP2 and Vista Home Premium perfectly. Bootcamp drivers work like a charm too.

good question. i wasnt able to at work, but as soon as I get my hands on it (tonight when we get more stock) i will buy it, and try shapeshifter.
