Change explorer minimize icon in RKlauncher

Is there any chance to change that small explorer icon from minimized window in RKLauncher ?

I don't *think* it's something you do with RK, I think you have to change your system icons. I don't know how exactly to do it, flyakite did it for me.

Flyakite is too dangerous for me. prefer control by myself.

IconPackager doesn't do that kind of thing.

Properties>Desktop>Customize desktop>Click on "my computer">Change icon

nope. I have changed my computer with IconPackager. Didn't help. I guess it is explorer.exe file to be hacked. SO i tried to change icons inside of this file with ResHacker. But when I saved my work (shutting down explorer process before saving) nothing has changed. I guess PC backups exporer file. So the problem is still here.

I think it may be the Windowsexplorer.exe icon (don't remember how it looked on XP) - try to change it with some resource browser.

Guys, do you read previous posts ? What have i written in the post above yours ? "I guess it is explorer.exe file to be hacked." (Of course it is Windowsexplorer.exe ). I did hack it but read what was then.

Yes, Windows restores all of Explorer and it's dll's.

This is really easy to do. If you add Explorer to RK Launcher and give it a custom icon, it will use that one instead.

I somehow figured out that but I forgot to save the precedure before I reinstalled XP. It should be one file to be hacked with Resource Tuner. But I don't remember which one.

I remembered. I used Replacer program to replace original explorer with modified one. I repeat the precedure now but nothing has been changed. So I think I missed smth.

Try putting the explorer.exe in your dock and change the icon for it to the one you want.

Now anytime you minimize the icon you chose for the explorer.exe icon in the dock should be there. I have PS in my dock (and the deault icon for it is the "periodic" Ps) but in the dock I have the icon of the feather, and when I minimize PS the feather is the icon, not the Ps.

thanks for your help but I don't like having explorer in dock. I like my computer. Moreover I have already resolved my problem by myself. First changed explorer icons in Resource tuner program and then replaced original explorer.exe with mod one using Replacer. God I'm genius.
