Thunderbird Mail Notification in RK Launcher

I have seen a couple of times that icon. which is a docklet for ave or sumurize I guess. Is it possible to have it as a notification when I got mail in Thunderbird ?

I underline - Thunderbird not Gmail. Coz I use Thunderbird to check many accounts not just Gmail.

.. strange, I thought RK Launcher can run Y'z Dock docklets...

I'll try it out and see if it works for me.

I think maybe your picking up the wrnong end of the stick.

The email notification is using the "pop" feature within gmail to tell the user that a gmail has arrived on the gmail server.

When launching Thunderbird it more or less uses the same feature only it pulls the mail down from the gmail server and downloads it on to your PC, the same with all your other email servers Yahoo etc.

I'm not sure what your looking for is possible without having Thunderbird running all the time.

I suppose you could have muliple instances of the mail checker, but it might not be practical.
