Taskbar Drop Shadow for Windows Vista

Hello!

What program could I use for dropshadow on Win Vista Ultimate?

I can't install Styler and YzShadow because installer says only on WinXP.

WinFX crashes when loading.

Any ideas how to get dropshadow for the taskbar working?

You could always edit your wallpaper to have a shadow under your taskbar. It's not a 100% solution, but it works just as well.

yeah, you can use YzShadow. Just Right-Click the Program and choose Run in compability Mode -> Windows XP . that's it.

There is a taskbar shadow png file posted in this forum somewhere, just use it as a shorcut with avedesk and enlarge it to fit your screen resolution. I did it with Xp and now with Vista as well...

To use on Vista, extract the folder, right click, properties for yzshadow.exe and in the Compability tab, click on "windows XP Service Pack 2".
