New Macbook Pro in January?

Interesting reading from Mac Rumors:

Those would be too expensive to produce on any scale and the market for them is too small.

I can see Apple having the setup as an option, but I guarantee it will be a built to order system.

You won't find something that powerful sitting in an Apple store waiting for some kid to come and "check it out".

Off-course these would be made to order, but Penryn's will be making way in base configs as well. Record shows apple snagging up exclusive (unreleased) chips from Intel in past, so I expect high-end chip (for 8-core) Mac Pro soon

There is also a loud buzz, about the upcoming sub-notebook (smaller, thinner macbook-pro?). Word goes that Apple will be releasing "that" with Leopard. Well, the time will tell.
