Vista and PidlShorcut Sublabels

Hello all,

After alot of searching around these forums, I decided to register so I could ask for help.

I'm on Vista Ultimate right now, and would love to have AveDesk2 working the way I want. However, since i know alot has changed from XP to Vista, I know there may be some snags with Vista Ultimate.

The sublabel numbers for pidlshortcuts do not seem to report correctly, and there seems to be a ton of new sublabels (many that are quite useless to me.) Is there any way to fix this ? I can display number of files in a folder with size of all files in XP, but in Vista, these options aren't there, and have been replaced with new ones!

Anyone else notice this ?

I believe that bug isn't fixable Avedesk still has several vista bugs and since Avedesk isn't being developed anymore so I don't think it'll ever be solved.... I don't have vista but yahooplop experienced it too and he's using vista...

Oh man, so judging by this post its most definitley a Vista problem. Sucks that this will probably never be resolved

I'm also curious about this...it works just fine for the recycle bin, so I tried duplicating it and just changing the shortcut, but the same thing happened...the options for number of items and size disappears.

It also works for whole drives such as C:/ etc. Just doesnt seem to work for folders and directorys
