Screenshot in WMP

I'm trying to take a screenshot with windows media player 11 open. It won't capture any of the video when I hit Print Screen and paste it. I have tried w/ the video acceleration at none and at full. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

This is an anti-piracy countermeasure, if I remember correctly.

Try a Windows install in vmWare or VirtualBox and take a screenshot of the vm from the host (not fllscreen).

Not a anti-piracy. It's just because the video is in overlay layer. So you must use some app that can take layered screens (old Print Screen won't do...).

it's not necessary to use any of 3rd party app, simply go Tools/Options/seclect Perfomance tab/Advanced then uncheck use overlays or you could use high quality mode that's wat i use if you have a good card.

Go into options, and slide the hardware acceleration down to 0. Close and reopen WMP. It should work with Print Screen.
