Beta 2 of Side Apps

this is the upcoming 2nd BETA of side apps

the desklets seen are a to-do list a magic 8-ball , a new design for picture viewer , a REAL digital digital clock , calculator now has a hover effect(not seen in pic) calendar now has next, prev and current buttons and a BMI(Body Mass Index) Calculator(to find out if your underweight/normal/overweight/obese)(can switch from in to cm and vise versa also lbs to kg and vise versa) please don't just say "nice" or "wow" or "sucks" but instead a suggestion or criticize it theres also a run desklet forgot to include it

still to come: app launcer, rss reader, weather setting dialogs

It's been a week now, sorry development has been very slow since I'm having my Exams but I finished the RSS reader

this is probably how the weather desklet will be(except for the background still thinking of a good color combination)... but i haven't finished coding it yet...

about desktop sidebar link I've been to the site before... but I don't really think I need it for now... anyways I'm done with my exam and breaks near so I think this will be released by early November

hm... that would be impossible (i think) since the point of it was to be a extremely simple internet radio player so it doesn't collect those info and stuff... I can't let avedesk/scripter get it using the program either..... but seriously send my the whole list of desklets you want

btw you should try ICY Radio http://www.ksoft.nm.ru/ it's a little kinda simple but it has a cool interface(+skinable)

an IP displayer desklet (only public IP for now) beta 2 is almost done(just need a settings dialog)... app launcher will be postponed for beta 3...

Well I would really appreciate the to do list. I don't know exactly what features have been planned for it, but it would definitely be awesome if one could select a due date and time for each task, and some sort of an alarm would be triggered at the selected time.

The 8-ball would also be great. =)

hm... sadly the to-do list doesn't have an due/alarm feature yet but you can always use thewer's calendar desklet http://spider4webdesign.deviantart.com/art...-1-0-7-42442770

it's has a task per day and alarm feature.

my to-do list has a color feature (colors the check box to set priorities) but remember these desklets I made are meant to be small so the picture you see there of the to-do list is the ACTUAL SIZE already. I'll try to make an alarm feature but it's not at my top priority.
