i dont know. My plan is to have the MacBook by late December, like Christmas time, but me and my bro are getting them, and we are worried a new MacBook will come out soon after that, like some rumors have been, on 9 to 5 Mac.
What do you guys think?
And If we got the current ones and new ones came out, say, 2 weeks later, can we get those free of charge, or are we "screwed"?

Well, if you do decide to buy the current macbook you only have 14 days to return it and it you take it out of the box there is a 10% restocking fee. Personally, I'd wait until December and then maybe it will be more know when the new macbooks are gonna come out and what they'll be like

well, I cant get it till around Christmas, because i'm broke, but I'd like to have the newest stuff, wouldn't you? Especially if it comes out like 1 week after you buy this one, just to see its outdated now?

Of course I like having the newest stuff, but that's an expensive game to play. Whenever you buy into tech stuff, next week..month...year something new and improved comes out. If you feel like you always need the latest greatest, you have to shell out more dough or you play the waiting game and end up without.
Now granted, if an announcement with specific dates of ship comes out, then the wait or delay would be worth it. I'm just saying that rumors will get you nowhere. They run rampid in the Apple Grove. You're better off visiting Apple.com than Macrumors.com.
I presonally have the same problem, only I have a bigger one.
I'm traveling to the USA on this sunday and i'll be staying there for a month (4 weeks)
and I wanna buy a MacBook (cuz at my country it's too damn expensive).
The problem is I heard the new MacBooks come out in 4.5 weeks and i'll be there for only 4 weeks 
So I don't know what to do, buy the MacBook or wait for about lets say... 6 months 'till i'll be there again :mad:
