Play video after startup?

Hey there everyone! I have simple question fort you guys.

Do any of you guys know if there is any way I can have a video play after I login to Mac OS X? (Everytime) (Or even better, same time the inro one plays, at each startup though) Not like, in a quicktime window, in full screen, like the Mac OS X into video does.

I know, i know, it sounds stupid, but I really want to do this.

Any suggestions?

(And I cannot do this now, so I cant try anything. This is for in the future, wehn I GET my Mac, but I just posted it now so I dont forget later on)

You should take a look at Do Something When.

Just get it to run at start up then put in the sequence you want to run.

I've had some success in the past with, but not in the way your trying.

Ok, I know this is off topic but, are you wait until leopard comes out to get your macbook lol?

On topic - I didn't actually know that, you could do something like that. I also just wondered WHY you would want to, because at boot the computer actually uses alot of resources (duh) and puting a video at the beggining would make it take longer to boot. Not trying to put you off doing this as it may turn out to be a great idea, its just that when I turn my computer on I like it to load ASAP and Im not really that bothered with bootup graphics, just what my experiences are when using it!

Well, first, yes, MacBook is going to be bought in January.... way after Leopard is out.

Second, I will only enable it when I need it. Its basically a clip, kind of like Apple TVs boot sequence. Its for a "project" im doing, so I will enable it only when I need to.
