don't like that black bg. It only sees like that with some of the pngs. Some work, some don't.

It's not FindeXer it's the png.
Most likely if you look at the png in Explorer using thumbnail view it will have a black background.
nope, they look just fine in thumbnail preview.
when i open them in fax viewer it shows a black bg.
they where working just fine until i reinstalled windows.
so it has to be from findexer. 
The png's are most likely uncompressed with a transparent black background setting. I'm speaking from experience.
These png's also render improperly with QTTabbar's hover over feature either showing me nothing or an outlined view of the png. After compressing them & saving the problem was gone for me.
It's not FindeXer because it would happen to every single png not pick & choose. Program/rendering issues don't show up that indiscriminately.
just colour in the background of the png to the colour of your findexer.
